Information we gather and track
Inca Boots gathers the following information about users:
* Information gathered through aggregated tracking information derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our sites. This information allows us to better tailor our content to readers' needs and to better understand the demographics of our audience.
* Information about shipping addresses and customer information, which is used solely to streamline your order process for subsequent orders and is optional for our customers. For security reasons, wee not not store your payment information. Thereofore, subsequent orders made by our customers will require that payment information be entered each time you order. We can, at your option, retain your shipping information.
Under no circumstances does Inca Boots divulge any information about an individual user to a third party. This information is gathered for the sole purpose of providing services to our users.
Cookies:
We may place a text file called a "cookie" in the browser files of your computer. The cookie itself does not contain Personal Information although it will enable us to relate your use of this site to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided. But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can't read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. We use cookies to track user traffic patterns (as described above) and to keep track of your purchases so we know what's in your basket when it's time to check out. It is not used for any other purpose.
"Recommend Us" policy:
Our site offers users the ability to choose to electronically forward a link or page to someone else by clicking "recommend us" link. The user must provide their email address, as well as that of the recipient. This information is used only in the case of transmission errors and, of course, to let the recipient know who sent the email. The information is not used for any other purpose nor is it retained in any database.
Returned Items
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will refund the cost of the goods or exchange items, provided they are returned to us as new, i.e. unworn and with the labels still attached, within 10 days from the date of your order. The goods must be returned to us in the original packaging, as this is designed to prevent damage to the items during shipping. Please obtain proof of postage from the Post Office when returning goods, as we will be unable to offer refunds or exchanges for items lost in the post without this documentation.
